I sought acupuncture as an alternative treatment after having suffered many years with extremely heavy menstrual cycles due to uterine fibroid tumors. Western medicine’s advice for treatment was a “wait and see” approach. My condition continued to worsen over the years where I was barely able to work during my menses. I read a lot about acupuncture being used by some Western medical practitioners for gynecological disorders, but wanted to make sure I found someone who was knowledgeable and had an interest in helping me with my problem. I have been a patient with Becky Haly for facial acupuncture. I am interested in facial acupuncture to reduce some of the deep lines and wrinkles. I was never a believer in herbal medicine and acupuncture, until NOW!!!

I went to see Becky for four reasons: 1-month of diarrhea (I became very exhausted and dehydrated), 10 years of lower back pain (diagnosed with a herniated disc and have had all kinds of chiropractic care, spinal injections, chronic pain), hot flashes (once or twice per week), and 7 years of depression medication (nobody informed me the long and short term side effects).

Dr. Becky Haly is a very caring acupuncturist. From allowing her patients to consult her after hours is a commitment in itself, not to mention the kind of expert care and genuine concern from Becky that you do not expect to see in doctors these days. I developed severe atopic dermatitis (eczema). It was excruciating from my scalp to my feet. I was constantly itching even in my sleep.
